Strait Jacket Escape the strait jacket as spikes are closing in. Metamorphosis Shoot the Right Ramp to transform the assistant to various animals (12 million, increasing by four million each time). Safe Escape Shoot the Inner Loops to unlock the safe. Spirit Cards Shoot the Inner Loops/Spinner to award increasing points (500,000 per spin, increases by 250,000 each time the loop is shot). Trunk Escape Shoot the Magic Trunk for four times to break the chains of a locked trunk. Levitating Woman Shoot the Center Ramp to score (11 million, increasing by one million each time). Tiger Saw Hit the Captive Ball for various animations of a tiger using the saw on different items. Start them all to finish this sub-mission. Shoot the trunk to light one of the following missions. Illusions: The hardest of the four goals. Midnight: Advance the clock to Midnight (shoot right loop). Multiball: Collect Theatre Multiball (to light the locks in the inner loop, shoot the ramps to complete “M-A-G-I-C”). Theatre: The easiest sub-mission, simply complete “T-H-E-A-T-R-E” (which also lights Theatre Hurry Up) by shooting the left loop. Main mission is to get to the “Grand Finale” by finishing: It is unknown if this machine still exists.Theatre of Magic is a pinball machine produced by Midway (under the Bally brand name). This was the second highest production volume of the first generation Bally electronic sound pinball machines. Overall, the setup is similar to earlier mechanical chime machines where a sound is played for incrementing the +10, +100 or +1000 points. The AS-2518-50 sound board plays “Rock and Roll all Night” notes for the game start tune and “Shout it out Loud” notes for the game end tune. Complete a third time to get Colossal bonus. The game contains 2 flippers, 4 pop-bumpers that alternate +100 and +1000 points, 2 sling shots, a 4 target drop target bank, 8 stand up targets, and a 4x4 grid of lights where you must complete the rows. The side cabinet portraits somewhat resemble the individual solo album covers that were released in 1978. The artwork features the band in their 1977 “Love Gun” era costumes, although the group had changed their look dramatically by the time the game launched. KISS, a Bally produced licensed game featuring the self proclaimed “Greatest Band in the World!”was released in 1979 and featured all four original members of KISS.
